Household Hazardous Products Drop-off Event

The free 2022 Household Hazardous Products Drop-off Event has been expanded to two days: Friday, October 21 and Saturday, October 22 at a new westside location. Rain or shine.

Advance registration is required and is scheduled to open via this webpage on Monday, September 19. 

You must be a Hamilton County, Ohio resident. Businesses, Churches, Schools, and non-profits are not eligible to participate. 

Residents may bring the following items for safe disposal at no charge: pesticides and fertilizers; automotive liquids including antifreeze, gasoline, and motor oil; kerosene; solvents, thinners, and oil-based paints and stains; pool chemicals; driveway sealers; tar; cleaners; mercury;  batteries; and tar. In addition, oxygen/helium cylinders; fire extinguishers; propane tanks; fluorescent bulbs; thermometers; and thermostats are accepted. 

These items are not accepted: LATEX PAINT; garbage; yard trimmings; appliances; computers, and electronics; radioactive materials; medical waste; gun powder, explosives, and ammunition; fireworks; tires; roofing materials; unknown materials; unmarked cylinders; medical waste; smoke detectors; tires; radioactive materials. This program also does not accept prescription or over the counter drugs/controlled substances.
