The Southwest Ohio Pollution Prevention Internship Program provides college students with the opportunity to gain vital career experience while helping to protect human health and the environment.
Through this paid summer internship, students work onsite with local host companies to:
• Assist professionals in facility audits to identify new sustainability and pollution prevention activities pertaining to waste reduction, emissions reduction, water conservation, energy conservation, and manufacturing efficiency
• Research and evaluate pollution prevention recommendations
• Implement selected recommendations that improve the company’s environmental, economic, and social performance
